There is a scene in the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where Charlie announces to his family that he will be selling his golden ticket in order for his impoverished family to have money.
An old relative tells him (paraphrasing here) "They print money every day, don't go and sell off the experience of a lifetime..."
I wish I hadn't sold the ticket to tonight's game.
It was the best game of the season so far, despite Bartolo giving up the long ball, despite the interfering Yankee fan, despite FOX's awful broadcast, despite Frankie giving everyone watching intense heartburn. Besides this crap, it was the best game of the season so far.
