Baseball keeps going all year round if you know where to look. In this case - it’s Arizona. The league opens on October 10th and runs through November 18th. Bates spent most of the 2017 season playing for the 66ers where he put together a rough season with a 6.66 ERA and 1.75 WHIP.

Samil De Los Santos, RHP, 23

Signed out of Dominican Republic in 2011 (Astros)
De Los Santos also spent most of his season playing in high A. His season was a bit better than Bates and he put together a 4.26 ERA and 1.51 WHIP in 44 innings.

Adam Hofacket, RHP, 23

Hofacket played across 3 levels in 2017, included 14 innings for Salt Lake. He has a 3.65 ERA in the minors this year with a 1.20 WHIP in 66.2 innings.
