I’ll cover the entire 40 man roster and will split it between position players and pitchers (generally 20 or so guys on each list). Each week the list will change based on the past week’s performance - but also taking into account their performance year to date.
These rankings were compiled with the help of MLB stats, FanGraphs, misc. data, personal opinion, scribblings on Cam Bedrosian’s Five Guys wrappers, and some fairy dust I found hidden in Matt Shoemaker’s beard.
Summary
It’s hard to win games when you don’t score runs, and the Angels only managed to plate 12 runners in 5 games. In the end they were outscored 30 to 12 by the D-Backs and Astros and had a .198 team batting average. That run output was LAST in all of baseball - behind even the Marlins, Orioles, Rangers, Tigers, and Padres.
Not a single position player rose in the ranks last week. They all dropped or stayed even. Yeah, it was that kind of week. We can only go up from there, right?
