Angels Week 25 Rankings - Pitchers

The good, the bad, and the meh - Viewing these ratings may be hazardous to your health

I’ll cover the entire 40 man roster and will split it between position players and pitchers (generally 20 or so guys on each list). Each week the list will change based on the past week’s performance - but also taking into account their performance year to date.

These rankings were compiled with the help of MLB stats, FanGraphs, misc. data, personal opinion, scribblings on Cam Bedrosian’s Five Guys wrappers, and some fairy dust I found hidden in Matt Shoemaker’s beard.

Last week, the Angels pitching staff was a lesson in futility with 65 runs allowed (57 earned) over 6 games. The staff combined for an 10.47 ERA and only Alvarez, Jerez, Ramirez, and Robles didn’t allow a run. Taking those guys out of the equation, you end up a 12.42 ERA for the rest of the staff. They also allowed 9 home runs, 74 hits, and 31 walks over 49 innings.

Not on this list:

Alex Meyer, 60 day DL
Keynan Middleton, 60 day DL
JC Ramirez, 60 day DL
Blake Wood, 60 day DL
Garrett Richards, 60 day DL
Jake Jewell, 60 day DL
John Lamb, 60 day DL
Nick Tropeano, 60 day DL
Jesus Castillo, Done for the season
Eduardo Paredes, Done for the season

Sep 18 Tyler Skaggs removed from 10 day DL
Sep 18 Nick Tropeano transferred to 60 day DL
