An Open Discussion of the Angels Rotation

Where do we go from here?

A few weeks ago, we had an open discussion about the Angels lineup. I thought it proved to be rather successful discussion. Users shared their own ideas for how to improve the team now and in the future.

Except the offense isn’t the problem right now. Brad Ausmus is finally trotting out the best hitters the Angels have with more consistency than before. In fact, in the Minnesota series, where we had 44 hits in three games, proves how well the lineup can hit.

The same cannot be said for the rotation, which is in shambles. No one starter has been consistent throughout the season (unless you consider the consistently bad ones).

The Angels can be good. But the rotation is holding them back. Discuss what you think the Angels should do. You can talk about short-term measures, things that can be done today. You can talk about long-term measures for development or FA signings. You can even talk about what we should have done over the offseason, although hindsight is 20/20 and that won’t help us anyway. You can be realistic or not at all. It’s up to you!
