Rangers (72-62) @ Angels (64-71)
When the Angels saw the Red Sox in Boston, both teams were down and out. The Angels have classically continued their slide, while the Red Sox are rejuvenated and look to push for a playoff spot in September. Go figure.
GAME
(R) Nathan Eovaldi (6.64 ERA) v. (L) Jose Suarez (6.67 ERA)
Friday, Aug 30 @ 7:07PM
Summary:
Nathan Eovaldi, after that amazing performance in the postseason, has had injury problems this year. Recently he returned from the Injured List to be thrust into the closer role because the Red Sox have had issues there. Then, manager Alex Cora decided to make him a starter. This will be the third start of the year for Eovaldi. The first two have not lasted long.
Suarez still gets an incredibly short leash, as he only lasted 4.2 innings against the Astros last week despite pitching reasonably okay (3 runs only). He will try to limit the home run ball against a Red Sox offense that boasts some of the best offensive players in the American League.
