It was inevitable, really. The Yankees were bound to win their first AL East title since 2012. Of course it came at the hand of the Angels. The Angels have learned over and over and over again this year that the surefire way to lose a game is to score less runs than their opponents. Especially when it’s A LOT less runs.

Kole Calhoun hit a home run and not much else happened for the Angels offense. Check out this sad box score info:

Only 3 left on base. It’s hard to leave people on base when they don’t get there. Not even a single runner left in scoring position.
