It’s happening again, and it’s going to happen a few more times before the season is over. For the Angels, this game is meaningless from a post season perspective, but not for the Indians who are fighting for an a Wild Card spot. The Indians swept the Angels in Cleveland to open the month of August.

Summary:

Patrick Sandoval will be making his 7th big league appearance, 6th start, and 1st against the Indians. In his 6 starts, Sandoval has received an average of 2.74 runs in support. Hopefully the offense can give him more than that, but it it will be a tough battle as they face Shane Bieber.

Not only has Bieber been one of the Indians best pitchers this year, he threw a complete game against the Angels on August 4th in which he only gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. It’s going to be a rough road in this series starting off with Bieber in game 1.
