It’s been a rough start to the year for the Angels, who currently sit at 3-7 and are in last place in the AL West. The good news for them is that there are still 50 games remaining and they can finish third in the division and still sneak into the playoffs.
With that being said, the Angels will be receiving a lot of firepower for this upcoming series in Seattle. Not only are they getting Mike Trout back, who missed the last few games while on the paternity list, they’ll also be seeing their No. 1 prospect Jo Adell get some playing time.
Playing the Mariners is definitely a great way to get your team back on the winning side of things, but adding two huge bats like that should really give the Angels a much-needed boost.
