2017 Angels midseason prospect rankings

Hello, everyone! What follows is our midseason Angels top prospect rankings, a compilation of our writers’ votes.

In the interest of comparing and contrasting, the methodology is the same one used at the beginning of the season. This means a 1st-5th place vote is 50-45-40-35-30 points, 6th-10th is 28-26-24-22-20 points, and 11th-25th place is 15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 points.

Eight writers voted, which means the maximum total was 400 (compared to the preseason’s maximum, which was 350). Remember that even though the top 30 prospects were voted on, only the top 25 are awarded points in order to maintain consistency.

So there you have it. By our voting, Jo Adell is the Angels’ #1 prospect, though others — Brandon Marsh, Jaime Barria, Jahmai Jones — are not far behind.
