Other Activities in Arizona during Spring Training

Spring Training in Arizona doesn’t have to be just about MLB

There’s plenty of informative baseball stuff around the site and team schedules are available as well. This is a guide for things to do outside of baseball if you’re looking for other activities to do this spring.

Hiking is always a great choice, NASCAR makes it semi-annual trips to AZ in mid-March. For reference I’ve gathered the schedules of the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Coyotes, ASU baseball/basketball. These are self-explanatory but if you want the best baseball fix in the evenings, I highly recommend catching an ASU baseball game. You’ll immediately notice the contrast for a low-intensity MLB afternoon practice games vs. the ultra high intensity of Pac 12 baseball that means something. And you might even see some future pros or maybe your alma mater in town.
