Eric Kay, the man at the center of the investigation into the death of Tyler Skaggs, essentially told the world he spoke up - because he felt like it was the right thing. Indeed it was, on many levels. And now, with Kay’s admission, this story has certainly taken a turn from those early days after Skaggs’ death in July.
Kay also said “I felt and continue to feel that it is time for everyone to stand up and take responsibility for their respective roles in this.”
It’s still unclear how deep this issue runs in the Angels organization, but one thing is clear - Kay is certainly spilling the beans while he is on a paid leave from the team and attending rehab for his ow opioid problem.
