Jo Adell is doing much better today after dealing with a lingering right quad injury. Joe Maddon expects him to be in the lineup tomorrow and is available off the bench tonight. So luckily for the rookie it doesn’t seem to be too serious of an injury.
Patrick Sandoval hasn’t made an appearance since his July 28 start against the Mariners, but Maddon said he’s ready to go. He threw four innings during his start, but Maddon said that now he’s up to about 80-90 pitches. Sandoval will make the start for the Angels tomorrow, Maddon confirmed.
Right now, it looks as if the starting rotation will look like Andrew Heaney, Julio Teheran, Dylan Bundy, Griffin Canning, Sandoval.
